I am happy to put my comments to paper on the way my recent case was handled by your firm.

I would have to say I am extremely impressed with the way I was made to feel so comfortable during the course of the 12 months it took to finalise the case. At times one does become despondent with comments and innuendos from family members and these are the times we all need reassurance, I will say that was always forthcoming from your firm, especially Joanne.

In a case like mine, one has to open Pandora’s Box and it takes a toll on you mentally, this is when I needed reassurance the most. There was never a time when I couldn’t have contact with someone, if Joanne was unavailable the staff were always so helpful and my calls were always returned as soon as possible.

Being in another State I imagine it made it harder for the team to put my case together as everything took 7 days to go back and forth by mail and many phone calls, but this didn’t seem to faze you as it all came together in the end.

I will say there were times I wished I could just wind it up and forget it as I am not in the best of health physically, but I am glad I persevered and the result has been worth it.

Please take this as my thank you to you all for helping me to show my siblings I am still a member of this family no matter what has gone on in the past and all parents should treat their children as equals.

When my mother died early January after a long decline, I learned that the sole beneficiary of her will was her brother-in-law. This actually came as no surprise due to a long history of family dysfunction in which my uncle played a key and dominating role. His antipathy towards me was barely disguised.  Hard to believe, I know, but he even took steps to prevent my getting to my mother’s death bed.
